A cribbage roguelite, on Steam, built to test a hypothesis. Good workflows and processes, pointed at a domain we knew nothing about, can still ship something people want to play.
None of us had ever built a game. We built Double Skunk anyway, with stacking powerups, run-defining pegs, and online Elo leaderboards. The same workflows are how we would build whatever you need, however unfamiliar the problem.
The site also teaches the card game itself. New players can learn cribbage through six interactive lessons, and the cribbage hand calculator scores any hand with the full breakdown.
